Trip Map
Packard Lake was another Dad, Lad and puppy dog trip but at the
end of the regular backpacking season. We were fortunate to be able
to
grab one of the last decent weekends of the year before things started
getting into the Winter mode. Due to the slightly chill temperature
of the evening and morning we built a fire to live out our pioneer
lusts.

Me with a pole sticking out of my back standing on the Northern
shore of Packard Lake. There is really nothing significant about
this
photo, but then again there is nothing significant about any
of these photos:)

Just a few yards south of Packard lake can be found the North Rim
of the East Fork of Upper Duchense River. This view point is
awesome and affords a lot of high country viewing.

Not far from Packard is Wyman Lake, another body of water that
would be fun to do an overnighter at.
